Our story
Kirchman’s Private Tours is owned and operated by George Kirchman. George is a Fredericksburg local who has a 12 year history in law enforcement. He loves interacting with the public and meeting new people.
After speaking with visitors about what kind of services would be ideal when visiting our town, he decided to start his own tour company. Kirchman's Private Tours was started with the intention to provide customized services that fit the unique needs of each individual client.
Our customers love the ability to plan their day as they wish. They are able to tailor their own unique brewery, distillery, or wine tours with no limit on times or places they can visit.

We've all been on a trip where we visited a place that we didn't enjoy. When you choose us, you are able to customize your trip and choose where you go and how long you stay! If you aren't enjoying one of your stops, you can move on! There is no waiting around on shuttles and no 'hop on/ hop off' service with us! Also you will never share your ride! With us you will have a completely private tour!

Not only do you choose your times and your places, but you can also choose to have a bottle, glass, or tasting. It's so much easier to cater to everyone's desires and not feel rushed.
Many wine tour companies have you choose from a specific list of places upfront which include tastings at each place you visit. While this is great for some, not all members of groups always have the same preferences. Some may want a tasting while others just want a glass! Not only that, but we do not want to limit you on places you can go! With us you can relax and decide on your own!

Not sure where to go? Don't want to worry about making reservations? You can let George choose for you! Whether you want a wine tour or instead want to visit a distillery or brewery, he's got your back! You'll be taken to his favorite places which do not require reservations! This means no tight schedules and no stress!
*Newer model vehicles
Our vehicles are all nice, newer model SUVs with leather seats and top of the line amenities. We do not have buses as our goal is to offer a more personalized mode of transportation! Each vehicle is meticulously cleaned and detailed before each tour. Our goal is to provide a more sophisticated private tour and our vehicles reflect that!

We will help with planning! This will allow you to have a more efficient use of your time and help you find places that are more in line with your interests! Our goal isn't only to 'provide a tour', but also to add to your experience and make it as stress-free for you as possible!

*No minimum group requirement
Most wine tour companies require 6 -10 members of a party before they will allow you to book. This can lead to the hassle of finding others to join you or having to share your tour with strangers. We do not require a minimum number to book! With us you will have a completely private tour, regardless of the size of your group! All are welcome to tour with us!
*Book our Elite Tour
Don't want to choose where to go or worry about the headache of coordinating tastings? Choose one of our Elite Tour packages and we'll take care of everything for you! Tastings will be held at some of the best wineries in the Hill Country! We'll make all of the reservations and prepay tastings so you don't have to!
